TR008 Line Port
Overview
What It Is
Frontier's Unbundled TR008 Line Port gives you integrated access to our digital switch. Analog-switched services can be provisioned according to Telcordia TR008 standards.
Verizon only offers particular analog switch services on a TR008 line port. The services we support are:
- Loop-start
- Custom calling features
- Caller ID, calling name, repeat dialing features
- Centrex
- Ground start
- Coin
- Mode I
How It Works
Frontier has limited TR008 hardware, so this port is provided first come, first served, wherever facilities are available.
Mode I terminates 96 analog customer lines over T1 carrier facilities.
Interconnection for a TR008 Line Port is from our digital cross-connect bay to your collocation arrangement in our central office. We ask that you have an established office-dialing plan for the switch in order to purchase a TR008 port.
